Procurement Services will strive to deliver the highest quality of customer service, support and professional procurement services to our customers including staff, suppliers and other members of our community.

Recognising that the University operates within core financial policies where possible we will use preferred suppliers to centralise the Universities purchasing power. We will be inclusive and transparent in our decision making process.

Procurement Services aims to provide the following objectives:

• Recommend and implement purchasing policy and procedures;
• Provide professional, courteous, efficient, and effective purchasing services;
• Manage procurement reviews (including tenders/RFP’s and drafting contracts) for general products and services;
• Deliver to the University community the most efficient and effective purchasing tools, end user training, and customer support to ensure products and services are delivered on time, in full and with specification;
• Obtain products and services that represent the best value for money;
• Assist and advise departments on purchasing matters.
