WHO WE ARE
Welcome to AUT’s Centre for Learning and Teaching, and Organisational Development Group.
Effective January 2010, AUT's Centre for Educational and Professional Development (CEPD) has been restructured into two new centres - a Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) and an Organisational Development Group (ODG). The OD Group offers services for all AUT staff, both academic and allied, whereas the CLT will focus primarily on academic areas of teaching, learning and research development, flexible learning and educational multimedia.
Centre for Learning and Teaching
Activities and areas of responsibility that come under the auspices of the Centre for Learning and Teaching are:
- Teaching and learning
- Flexible learning
- Educational Multimedia
- Facilitation and consultancy on other relevant areas of expertise.
The new CLT will also continue to provide support for Research and Scholarship development. Future institutional provisions for this area of academic development are being determined.

- Orientation and induction programmes
- Organisational development projects
- Leadership and management development
- Personal and generic professional development
- Allied staff training and development
- IT training
- Facilitation and consultancy on relevant areas of expertise
