Our graphic design and digital services encompass CD Rom duplication, scanning, graphic design and desktop publishing.

Graphic Designers/Desktop Publishing

Our team of graphic designers and desktop publishers can undertake all your pre-press work. This includes an extensive creative design service and typesetting and document pre-print preparation of your document to create professionally designed documents. We have many years of desktop publishing experience and can undertake design work such as newsletters, brochures, flyers, business cards, letterheads, forms, handouts, text books and booklets. Our team can prepare files for any four-colour process print job, and we specialise in converting Microsoft Office files to print-ready files.

Our designers work with the latest technology and prefer to receive your documents, images and graphics in digital format. This is the most cost-effective means for creating your finished product. We work with the following programs:

Scanning

Printsprint offers scanning services including:

Image scanning – this converts a photograph or piece of artwork into an electronic graphics file. Scans used in printing production are usually saved as EPS or TIFF files.
PDF (Portable Document File) Scanning - a format for the transfer of designs across multiple computer platforms. PDF is a universal electronic file format. Documents in the PDF format can be viewed, navigated and printed (subject to Author defined constraints) from any computer regardless of the fonts or software programs used to create the original.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Scanning - computer software capable of parsing (reading) scanned images of documents converting the various page elements into (editable) fonts, vector graphics and tables.

CD Burning and Duplication

We have specialised equipment to create error-free copies of CDs, or we can burn files onto a CD or DVD. The quality of the CD or CD duplication will be far superior to burning a CD on an average computer. Printsprint can create CDs that meet the standard for maximum readability and multiple copies can be created quickly in high or low volumes. We can label CDs for you, and provide CD pockets to protect CDs form dust and dirt. Blank CDs (with jewel case) can also be purchased from Printsprint for a reasonable cost. Please note rights under the Copyright Act 1994 must be considered when copying CDs.
