From business cards and large posters to small or large volume documents – no job is too large or too small for Printsprint.

Our printing and copying services are provided on a fast turn-around time. We place orders on a first-come-first-serve basis, but have the capacity to schedule urgent work at any time. We provide both on-demand and high volume print services. When large volumes prevent instant copying, a negotiated time of convenience can be arranged. On-demand printing, copying, binding and colour copying can generally be completed while-you-wait at reception. If document preparation or make-ready artwork is required, a later completion date may be necessary.

Printsprint staff are available to help you choose the best printing services, and advise you on paper.

Our technologies

Printsprint has a range of Canon technologies to offer you high quality laser colour and Black and White printing, copying and scanning. These include:

• Wide Format Printers - Want to make an impression at your conference? Got a banner you would like to produce for a birthday party? What about adding some “zing” to your presentation? Then check out Printsprint’s Canon Wide Format Printer. All prints are produced with UV stabilised inks. This guarantees the print for a minimum outdoor life of two years, or an indoor life of up to 90 years with only five percent fading. Printsprint also offers a wide range of printing products such as matt or gloss photo paper in gsm weights between 170 and 220 gsm, synthetic media in vinyl, and textured material in canvas.
  
  Offering up to A0 width, and unlimited length, wide format printing offers high quality colour options for you, including:

• Plan Printer – Printsprint’s Canon Plan Printer is ideal for producing your detailed floor plans, designs and diagrams. This printer offers up to A0 width and unlimited length.

• Colour Printing – Printsprint offers digital toner-based colour printing on a range of general stationery or print products with its range of Canon printers including A5 to A3 printing with a variety of finishing options.

• Printing Secondary Colours – Printsprint has a liquid ink printer that is able to print one colour at a time for simple colour printing jobs, great for multi-colour envelopes. This printer, called a RISO, offers on-demand efficient printing and is ideal for jobs such as printing envelopes, letterhead or small brochures.

• Black & White – Black & White printing can be done on our specialised Canon printer and can produce everything you need from one-offs to high volume printing with the following finishing options: 
  - Booklet making (A5 or A4 booklets)
  - Stapling
  - Hole punching
  - Other finishing options are also available.

• Self Service Machines – All self service machines are available at all Printsprint branches for customer self-service use. The Canon IR2200 machines provide black and white printing and are available at the following sites:

IMPORTANT NOTE: COPYRIGHT
You must consider copyright laws when copying or printing any documents. You must comply with the Copyright Act 1994 and the Privacy Act 1993 when making copies.

However, AUT is contracted to Copyright Licensing Limited (CLL) who provide a centralised copyright clearance service to educational institutions. CLL work with similar organisations worldwide to collect royalties to pay to authors. This allows for some copying of copyright documents to occur and we have brochures and information on this at any of our service desks. This contract applies to AUT staff and students. ALL other clients are restricted to the provisions within the Copyright Act 1994.

It is illegal to make copies of any currency, bonds, shares or other certificates of debtedness, certificates of deposits, Treasury notes, government or military documents, music sheets, postage stamps, bank cheques, motor vehicle ownership papers etc. Printsprint will not provide any assistance in the reprographics of these documents.

Printsprint will copy personal documents with proof of identity and where the document cannot be substituted for the original. Personal documents could include: passports, drivers licenses, badges, identification cards, birth certificates, diplomas, immigration papers and certificates of New Zealand citizenship. Please note: This list of restricted materials provided above is not exhaustive and is provided only as examples.
